Wild Challenge and Big Wild Sleepout

What could be more exciting than a night under the stars?

This year the RSPB, Southway Housing Trust and Manchester City Council are holding events to help families discover the wildlife of both the daytime and nighttime in the Mersey Valley.

Join them on 28th July 2018 for a fun-filled Wild Challenge as we discover the creatures that fly, buzz, swim and crawl during the day in the habitats around the park. Get involved in activities like bird box making, nature trails, den building and pond dipping. After the event, why not do your own Big Wild Sleepout at home, or join at Chorlton Water Park?

It’s a different place in the dark, full of sounds, sights and interesting nocturnal wildlife you never imagined even existed. They’ll be running activities such as a bat walk, family quiz, campfire singing and a dawn chorus walk. It’ll be a fun packed night under the stars!

Ticket options are as follows:

Wild Challenge daytime pass (for all daytime activities, 1pm – 6pm)
